Bungee jumping Whitby

Whitby Bungee Jumping is from a bridge and provides an alternative experience to the traditional crane jump. Jumping from a stationary platform, situated at landmark locations, which are often over water, makes for an unforgettable experience. With very few bridges in the UK allowing bungee jumping, our Whitby location is surrounded by spectacular scenery leaving you with lasting memories.

The jump takes place over the river Esk with great views across to Whitby Abbey from the top. Conisbrough viaduct with its 21 arches, 150 foot lattice iron girder span over the river Don.

Min age 14 years. 14 / 15 years olds will need parental consent on the day. 16 – 50-year-olds can jump. Over 50s will need a doctor’s certificate.

All jumpers must be fit and healthy. Not suitable if pregnant or for anyone that has back or spinal problems. Any health concerns please consult your doctor prior to booking this activity.

On arrival you will be required to complete a Bungee Jump membership form. Please make your way to the registration desk, which will be on the bungee trailer. You will then be weighed twice, ensuring that the correct bungee rope is used for your jump.

The professional instructors are extremely safety conscious and perform extensive safety checks, adding to the anticipation of what's about to come! You will then enter the cage and taken to a height of circa 160ft. All that is left to do now is Jump.

Please Note: Maximum weight limit for a solo jumper is 120kg (18.9 stone) Maximum weight limit for a tandem jump is 217kg (34.17 stone)
